Practical Information
Best time to visit: The Red Sea has year-round diving. Peak conditions are generally April–November for warmer water and excellent visibility; winter offers cooler temps and quieter sites.
Water & visibility: Expect visibility of 10–30m depending on site and season; water temps range from 21°C (winter) to 29°C (summer).
Health & safety: All dive centres follow international safety standards. Travel insurance covering diving is strongly recommended. We advise bringing a dive computer and personal mask where possible.
Equipment & rental
Most centres provide full rental sets (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, tank). Specialty gear (sidemount, rebreathers) is available on request through partner centres.
Families & non-divers
Non-divers can enjoy snorkeling trips, beach days, spa treatments and cultural excursions (Cairo, Luxor). Family-friendly resorts and childcare services are available on request.
